Laura Vogelzang
DIRECTOR AND SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Laura is an AHPRA-registered Senior Occupational Therapist who has been practicing since 2007, working with people of all ages and a diverse range of disabilities across acute, inpatient, and community settings. She graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2006, is a FIM-accredited assessor, and is the Director of You Therapy Services.
Laura is passionate about working with adults in the disability and aged care sectors, with a special interest in neurological, physical, and intellectual disabilities, as well as supporting individuals with chronic health conditions. She founded You Therapy Services with the goal of helping people remain living safely in their own homes for as long as possible. Over the years, she has refined her expertise in home modifications and assistive technology prescription, always striving to find creative solutions to everyday challenges.
A country girl at heart, Laura grew up in Gloucester and has lived and worked across London, the Northern Territory, and Western Australia before settling back in Newcastle. When she’s not running the business or keeping up with her three energetic boys, she loves to travel and explore new places.
And while she may be slightly embarrassed to admit it, Laura’s guilty pleasure is unwinding at the end of the day with some trashy reality TV—she can tell you exactly what all the Housewives are up to!

Neroli Moran
SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Neroli is an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist. She graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2005 and has worked in a wide range of settings including inpatient acute and rehabilitation hospitals, adult and generalist community health, community mental health, not-for-profit organisation, in the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) and now in private practice with NDIS participants and Homecare Package recipients. Neroli has worked as a senior and a sole OT in rural areas of NSW for most of her career, as well as OT roles in rural QLD and locuming in the UK, until returning home to Newcastle in 2019. She has been part of the You Therapy Services team since early 2023.
Neroli is a FIM-credentialed clinician as well as a qualified Access Consultant and Livable Housing Assessor and has extensive experience in complex home modifications, functional assessment, home and living assessment and assistive technology prescription. More recently, Neroli has developed an interest and passion for OT in goal-based capacity building. She is keen to expand the services You Therapy Services provides, to include some targeted support for adults with mild-moderate intellectual disability and neurodiversity in daily living skills like cooking, personal organisation and budgeting, community participation and any other meaningful tasks which promote independence and quality of life.
When not at work, she and her husband spend their time ferrying their 3 boys to sport and social activities, as well as walking the dog while listening to podcasts, being outdoors and going on holidays as much as possible.

Rebecca Vile
SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Rebecca is a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist, registered with AHPRA. She has been a valued member of You Therapy Services since April 2024. Graduating from the University of Newcastle in 2019, Rebecca has worked extensively with individuals with disabilities, supporting NDIS participants in the community to enhance their independence and engagement in daily life.
Passionate about improving accessibility and quality of life, Rebecca specialises in the prescription of complex assistive technologies and home modifications. She is particularly committed to working with adults with physical disabilities and aged care clients, helping to remove environmental barriers and promote greater participation in meaningful activities. Rebecca is also FIM accredited and has undertaken extensive professional development in complex equipment prescription and home modifications.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys camping, spending time with family and friends, and unwinding with a good TV series.

Sarah Smith
SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Sarah graduated with Honours from The University of Newcastle in 2005.
Since then, she has built a robust career in community-based roles within the Newcastle Region, in both clinical and management positions. Over the years, Sarah has honed her expertise in complex home modifications, assistive technology prescription and functional assessment, supporting individuals across the lifespan. She has also developed a strong competency in clinical supervision, an area she is particularly passionate about.
As a dedicated mother of three young children, two with special needs, Sarah’s personal and professional experiences have fuelled her passion for advocacy in the disability sector.
In her (limited) spare time she enjoys true crime podcasts, reading a good thriller and getting out for a run/walk in nature.

Amanda Cox
SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Amanda is an experienced Occupational Therapist, who graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1994.
Over the last 30 years she has worked across acute, secondary and tertiary rehabilitation roles, gaining extensive experience in the OT role in facilitating independence and achieving goals. Amanda’s expertise lies in complex home modifications, including kitchen adaptions and home automation, helping to create accessible and functional spaces.
Amanda enjoys working closely with clients to determine their goals and collaboratively problem-solve to find the best possible solution within funding criteria and the Australian Standards. It is always rewarding to see the end goal achieved and witness people gaining independence and confidence in their home and community environment.
Outside of work, she enjoys arts and crafts, fellowship with her church family and spending time with her husband and three adult children, who bring her great joy.

Dan McKenna
SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Dan is an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist within the disability sector. A graduate of the University of Newcastle in 2019, he has worked with both paediatric and adult clients, providing both therapy and assessment-based services. He is experienced with home modifications and assistive technology assessments and is particularly passionate about supporting adolescents as they navigate the transition to adulthood, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed for success. Known for his reliability, diligence, and client-centered approach, he is committed to delivering high-quality, personalised care in every setting.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dan finds joy in spending quality time with his young family. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he embraces adventure sports such as mountain biking and paragliding, enriching his life with exhilarating experiences outside the office.
